I’m Lauren – lover of wine, ice cream, and other carbs. I spend too much time on Instagram and spend too much money on Amazon. I’m too old for TikTok (I’ll send you 20-a-day anyway) and I Google everything.

My husband, Taylor (T), and I have two handsome boys, Teddy and Jack, and a rotten dog named Lily. We are both born and raised in Kentucky, and love our teeny sliver of peace in the boonies. We both work full-time but are s-l-o-w-l-y renovating our home – follow along on Instagram to see what we’re doing recently.

If you see any recipes posted, they’re almost guaranteed to be from T. He’s the “Chef BoyarTee” at our house. I am good at a solid handful of dishes and leave the fun stuff to him. Balance, right?

If you’re on Goodreads, I like to read mystery, thriller, suspense and smut. I listen to true crime podcasts and I miss The Office and Game of Thrones. Overall, I’m just your average 30-something who makes lots of lists to keep it all straight.
